Getting married in Vegas can be overwhelming because there are so many options. I know this because I literally looked at all of them. For real. I got engaged in 2019, and then 2020 happened, so I had a whole extra year to plan things. Lol. Anyways, my point is, that I looked a ton of different Las Vegas wedding venues online and visited a bunch in person. This post is a roundup of the ones I visited, but with some insight into their offerings at the time (2020-2021) and a few honorable mentions….plus see which one I picked!

I’ll give them each a number of $ to represent their price range, again, at the time I wrote this, which is pricing for 2020-2021.

$ is under $3,000

$$ is $3,001-6,000

$$$ is 6,001-9,999

$$$$ is $10,000+

Let’s start with the first one I visited…

A Simple Affair Events $$-$$$

This was the first of the Las Vegas wedding venues I visited. It is very much a blank slate for you. They have some gorgeous options for decoration packages, but you can also bring your own vendors and utilize the space how you like. There is a large room that can be separated into sections for the ceremony and reception. And, they take care of moving the chairs from the ceremony to the reception area. There are, of course, some cute dressing rooms.

I loved the overall vibe of the venue. It was a large open space, they had a nice brick wall and the lighting was amazing! They allow outside vendors, but have some great suggestions for food and photography. The photography book they showed me was so gorgeous. I wish I still had the business card to share with you. But, definitely check out their suggestions if you go there.

Here are some pros/cons for this venue:

ProsCons

– Great Vibe
– Can use outside vendors
– Very versatile
– Mid-range pricing
– Loved the ladies that own/run it

– Located in a shopping center (on the side)
– If your wedding is big, parking may be tight, but free
– If you don’t like coordinating, this might not be your jam.
– They have options, but you still coordinate
(or your wedding planner if you get one)

Overall, I really loved it, and I like to plan events, so that part did not bother me. It was actually a benefit for me. But, it came down to pricing. Since my mom was paying for my wedding, I was really trying to stick to a budget of $5,000. I would totally recommend this venue!

The Grove $-$$

The second venue I visited was The Grove. I loved the atmosphere of The Grove. It was a cool, tucked away oasis in the desert. They had some indoor reception space paired with some really nice outdoor ceremony spots. The people that showed me around and talked to me were so friendly and warm. I really enjoyed the overall vibe.

The best part about this venue is that it’s all inclusive. So, for the price of what just a venue would cost most places, you can get the whole macaroni! They have a variety of package options ranging from just the ceremony, to the full ceremony with reception and food, dj, etc. The only thing that was not in the packages was photography. But, the owners had some really reasonably priced vendor suggestions for photography.

Here are some of the pros/cons for this venue:

ProsCons

– Great price considering all that’s included
– Beautiful atmosphere and environments
– All inclusive, no need to find vendors
(other than photography)
– Great owners

– Location is far out for non-residents
(and some residents – it was 45 min
from my house)
– Need to find/hire a photographer

Overall, I would have booked this venue in a heartbeat, if it wasn’t so far from the airport, where my guests were coming in. I really liked the packages available, the ambiance and the ownership. I would 10/10 recommend!

Bear’s Best Las Vegas $$$-$$$$

Bear’s Best Las Vegas was absolutely gorgeous. It is off strip and had a fairly central location. It was a venue located on a golf course. When I got there (I was early), one of the gentleman in the lobby walked me out to show me the outside ceremony space. It was a beautiful grass area that overlooked the golf course. It was seriously an amazing view. If you’ve dreamed of an outdoor ceremony with a view and gorgeous surroundings, this is for you.

The people were so nice. It was definitely a theme in the venues I toured. All the people that showed me venues were so pleasant and no one ever made me feel uncomfortable or like I didn’t belong. Here was no exception. The wedding coordinator showed me the space for the reception, which is versatile, beautiful, and large.

Here are some of the pros/cons for this venue:

ProsCons

– GORGEOUS
– Versatile reception space
– Great options for décor and packages
– Centrally located off strip

– Pricey
– Reception room is large and more
for mid to large size weddings
(pro or con, depending on your wedding!)

Overall, this venue was amazing, but didn’t fit my wedding. It was definitely outside my price range. The packages I was looking at were around $7-8,000 and the reception room was way too big for 12 people. If I was having a bigger wedding, it would be a definite contender.

Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino Wedding Chapel $-$$$$

This is where I got married! The first, obvious benefit for me, was the location. I knew I had people coming from out of town. I knew that it would be nice to be able to offer them options for hotels. Since the Mandalay Bay is right next to Luxor and Excalibur, you have options in all price ranges right next to each other. This made it easy for people to pick their hotel based on their own budget.

I loved the all inclusive nature and the service that came with the packages. They had a variety of packages available, but with a great range in cost from super affordable to luxury! The ladies that coordinated my ceremony were available for questions, super friendly and helped me have a totally stress free day. I loved the modern nature of the venue location that I chose and it fit the vibe I was going for. If you want more details, check out my post here.

Here are some of the pros/cons for this venue:

ProsCons

– Very well kept, beautiful locations
– Multiple ceremony locations available
– Lots of options for add on reception
– Wedding website for making
choices all in one place
– Add ons were easy to see and price
– Great service and coordinator included

– Can get pricey if you want some extra amenities
– On the strip, so can be crowded at hotels
– Must use the photographer connected
with the venue
– Must use the décor and floral options from the venue

Overall, obviously I chose this venue, so I loved it! There was a package in my price range. I went with the Exquisite package. It’s $950. I did a few add ons for floral and décor and a wedding favor. Overall, it was about $1300. And that worked for me! I also loved that I literally chose everything on their wedding website that they gave me my own login to. Then I just showed up on my wedding day! Super simple.

Las Vegas Wedding Venues Honorable Mentions

I went to a few other locations as well that weren’t my favorite. I visited Sunset Gardens which had a really beautiful outdoor area. But, the indoor area felt a little dated, or super traditional wedding, which I wasn’t going for. It just wasn’t my style, but still very pretty.

I also checked out the wedding chapel at Treasure Island. This venue was small, which would have worked, but definitely not my style either. Although the ladies that were there were super friendly! And the venue itself is really, really reasonably priced. If you are bride-ing on a budget big time, this is a great option.

Wrap Up

Overall, there are so many Las Vegas wedding venues – more than I can go over. But, hopefully, these few that I visited and highlighted here can give you some ideas or get you started! Each is unique in their own ways. Like almost everything else with wedding planning, it comes down to what works for your style and your goals! If you have any questions about these venues, feel free to drop a comment below. I’m happy to help if I can! Happy Wedding Planning!
