Peeps are amazing! Fluffy, yummy, sugar coated marshmallows and they’re pretty darn adorable. For Easter this year, I’m going with a PEEPS theme. I found some awesomely fun things for a basket at Amazon and Target. I’ll show you the items that would be super fun for your basket, give you a few pics of the finished product, and FREE Peeps tags!
Disclosure: I have affiliate links in this post. That means when you click on a link, if you buy something, I get a commission. This does not cost you any extra money. They are just bouncing back a commission to me for sending you their way! And, don’t worry, I won’t recommend anything from a website I don’t trust. I have your back! Plus I shop all these places too! Want more info? Check out the EventOTB Privacy Policy.
First Basket option: Pink Peeps Bunnies
What you’ll need: pink basket, pink Easter grass, Peeps plush/candy combo, scented (YAS!) stickers, pink bunny keychain, nail decals and pink bunny pop, Neapolitan Peeps. You can find most of this at Target or on Amazon here.
Optional: those cute little chickens that I remember from childhood, felt eggs, cellophane.
First up, fill in your basket with the Easter grass. We are working a mostly pink theme here, so stick to pink, or yellow if you must (also in our items). Then, big items go in the back and smaller in the front. You’ll want to tilt the items towards the left or right to be able to see them all. Optional – put cellophane around your basket. Finally, get your FREE tags and write your person’s name, a sweet note, or anything you want!
Alright……drumroll……Pink Peeps Bunny Basket:
Next up: Yellow Peeps Chicken Basket
What you’ll need: yellow basket, yellow Easter Grass, scented stickers, nail decals, eraser, chocolate covered peeps, (2) yellow bunnies, felt eggs
Optional: cellophane, those cute chickens from childhood!
You know the drill – fill your basket with Easter grass. For this one, we don’t have a particularly large item, so I put the two Peeps bunnies in the back, one on top of the other. Then, layer each smaller item in the front, tilting left and right. I actually opened up a Neopolitan pink Peep from the pink basket and dropped those in the front. It’s your choice – get creative! Don’t forget your FREE tags.

Easter Card Cutouts
Now, maybe a basket is too big a commitment for you. I get it! We are busy, we have lives! Lol. Another idea for the freebie tags is to turn them into cards. You can print them and cut them out and send them like Valentines, but for Easter. I used the awesome sugar scented Peeps stickers to decorate the envelope. Alternatively, if printing and cutting is not your style, you could use the felt eggs and stickers too! Again, it’s all about being creative.
Party Gift Baskets
The baskets I used were not particularly huge, which makes me think that they would make great party favors! If you’re having an Easter shindig, another item I love is the Bunny Napkin by MeriMeri. These napkins are pretty darn fun. The felt eggs also make a great accent for the table. Just sayin guys….party it up! Any excuse really. Lol.
I’d love to see your ideas. Put them up on Insta and tag @EventOTB.
Type in your email for the FREE Peeps tags. Included in your email will be colored and blank tags. If you don’t want to eat up printer ink, I got you! Print the blank ones on colored paper. In addition to getting these awesome little freebie tags, you’ll be the first to know when new freebies are up on the blog and other unique party ideas/themes/gift ideas.
