Halloween is a time for candy……corn! This candy corn centerpiece is a super cute, very quick, and totally inexpensive way to add some fall decor to your table! The whole thing only cost me $7.25 and requires no glue/tape/adhesive at all. Check out the video tutorial and instructions below!
What You’ll Need for Your Halloween Centerpiece
- A vase (from your house, or get one at the dollar store)
- (3) Orange faux flower bunches
- (2) Yellow faux flower bunches
- (1) White faux flower bunch
I got all my faux flowers from The Dollar Tree. They were super cute and the perfect colors. But, you could also find faux flowers at a craft store like Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, or JoAnn’s. For the vase, I used one that I had at home. I was lucky enough to have a person I worked with previously handmake that vase as a house warming gift about a decade ago! It was so nice and such a great gift. Since it had that perfect orange tone, I used it for this centerpiece. You could also use a clear vase and put ribbon around it to cover up the stems. But, I would suggest a non-see through vase for the easiest route!
Video Tutorial
If you’re a visual person, you can see me put this table centerpiece together in the video below from my Tik Tok. It’s super quick and easy to do. If you’d rather have written instructions, keep scrolling!
How to Put Together Your Halloween Centerpiece
The nice thing about this is it’s really, really simple. You don’t need water because the flowers are fake. Start by putting the three orange bunches at the bottom of your vase opening. On that note, a vase with a smaller opening at the top will help keep all these flowers in place easier.
Next up, add in your two yellow flower bunches. You might have to do some shuffling to get the flower bunches to fit nicely together. Try rotating them, pushing them down, just get them as close to looking like one piece as possible!
Finally, you want to add the white bunch on top. Same thing, shuffle around until it looks right. You can see that I did it in the video. It took some rotation. And that’s really it! If the vase has a larger opening and doesn’t hold your flowers like the one I used, then you might have to get some tape involved or filler like tissue paper. But try to stick to a small opening vase!
Tip: If you want it to look great from all angles, get a couple more oranges, and one more yellow and white. then you can create more of a 360 effect for your Halloween centerpiece. Again, it will come down to you playing with it!
