Hey Party People!

I’m so excited you’re here to join the party planning celebration! (I’m just going to apologize in advance for the overuse of exclamation points. It’s going to happen. I can’t help it!) We are celebrating! Also, I apparently take a lot of picture of myself in the car! Lol.

This blog is your jam! Let me explain the name: EventOTB stands for Event Outside the Box. The focus of EventOTB is to provide creative resources, inspiration and fun for anyone wanting to embrace unique event ideas and gift giving. The goal is to inspire the events of your life no matter how big or small.

Some of the super awesome categories on the blog:

*Planning – This category incorporates all things party planning. From creating a playlist to choosing a venue, there are many topics to help you plan the big and small events of your life!

*Themes – New themes are periodically added with a Party Pack. The Party Pack is a downloadable party! It includes all the printable party pieces from invitations, to food tags, to art and décor. As new themes are posted, you can be the first to know by entering your email below and joining the party!

*Gifts – This category has a few different formats. There are gift ideas, DIY gifts, lists of awesome internet finds and, of course, freebie downloads!

*Just for Fun – This is the category that encompasses all the miscellaneous, scattered fun ideas that come from my brain. Everything from “What Your Favorite Party Theme Says About You” to the “Pig Hall of Fame”.

When did my party begin…

My first real gig was my youngest sister’s seventh birthday. My theme was Winnie the Pooh – I turned our backyard in to the Hundred Acres Woods! Ever since, I have been in love with theming, the creativity that comes with party planning, and the joy it brings to everyday life. I’ve planned bridal showers, birthdays for kids and adults, community events at work, and celebrations just FOR THE FUN OF IT! I am passionate about all things creative and party planning is my favorite!
