What You’ll Need to Put the Painting Gift Together
The main part of this painting gift is the adult paint by number from Winnie’s Picks. They have so many choices on their website. They have levels from beginner to advanced. This one, Starry, Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh is an advanced level. But, you can choose according to your gift recipient. Winnie’s Picks has a variety of styles from abstract animals to traditional landscapes to artistic classics. So, pick one out that suites who you’re giving it to!
If you want to take it to a super unique level, they have custom paint by numbers as well. You can upload a picture and they will turn it into a custom paint by number! How cool is that?! It’s definitely a gift that would be talked about for a long time after the holiday you’re celebrating is over.
The other materials you’ll need are: an easel, paint brushes, and a paint brush holder/container. The easel I got at Michaels Craft Store and the paint brushes/paint brush holder came from Hobby Lobby. But, I’m sure you can find all of it at a craft store near you! This DIY art gift is a super simple one to put together, but holds a big impact!
Putting Your Painting Gift Together
To put this one together you just need some tape, wrapping paper, ribbon and scissors. The first step and part that makes wrapping the easiest, is to tape the items together. I’m not talking about wrapping the tape all around the items, just a little folded tape in between items to hold them in place. You can see in the video below.
Now that they are taped together, you can wrap it up in wrapping paper. I chose a fun wrap that I got at Walmart. It’s made by the Pioneer Woman. Since this is a gift for my mom, she loves the Pioneer Woman. Then, tie up on the ends with ribbon and your gift is ready to go!
