Let’s get crackin’ this summer with a firecracker themed party favor! This easy to put together party favor is perfect for your 4th of July event, whether it’s a bbq, traditional party or just a get together with family! It only requires a few things to purchase and it’s as easy and dropping it all in a can! Lol. Let’s get started!
What You’ll Need: short mailing/packaging tube, patriotic scarf, Baby Ruth candies, confetti poppers, Bazooka gum, red and blue star confetti, thread or ribbon
Where to Get Your Materials
Short Tube – I got this at Michael’s Craft Store. It was in the aisle with gift bags and cellophane. And, it’s only a couple bucks. The ends are plugged with plastic stoppers.
Candy, Confetti, Scarf, thread/ribbon – I got all these materials at (can you guess – if you’ve read pretty much any other post I’ve done) THE DOLLAR TREE!
Putting it Together
Ok, so granted this is not a difficult tutorial. You’re literally going to open all the packages and put as much or as little as you want in the tube. Don’t forget to add your star confetti, because it’s always fun to watch the people at your 4th of July event opening their gift and being showered with confetti.
Finish it Up
To finish off this party favor, put the plastic ends in the tube to seal it up. Then you’re going to roll the scarf around the tube and tie it at the ends so it looks like a firecracker! I will tell you that this is a much easier job if you have one person holding the scarf and one person tying.
Wrap Up
This party favor is super easy and lots of fun to give people at your 4th of July Event. And, it won’t break the bank. If you’re looking for more party favor inspiration, check out EventOTB’s Party Favor Pinterest board. And, you can also see some more 4th of July ideas in the posts below!
