I compiled a list of my favorite 90’s gifts because seriously can’t get over the 90’s right now. Maybe it’s because I grew up during that decade. I may be a little bias. BUT, I do see 90’s era things coming back around, like everything eventually does. I seriously read somewhere that Dunkaroos are coming back! For real. And it’s on the internet, so it must be true. Lol. Also, I just figured out there are still Mondo drinks at the grocery store. In case you don’t remember, they were like Squeeze-its. They are a ridiculous bright blue or red and, I’m sure, full of all kinds of things no one should be drinking. But, at least I know they are there!

Ok, back on topic. 90’s gifts. Am I the only person that likes to theme a gift to a party? Maybe you’re going to a 90’s theme birthday party and you want to get them a 90’s themed gift! Or, maybe you just have a friend like me, who is still obsessed. I have complied a list of my favorite 90’s themed gifts from across the web. You can easily order through links in the post from Amazon and Think Geek. At the end of the post, you can enter your email for a FREE 90’s theme gift tag for your awesome present! Cowabunga, dude!

90210 Hot Wheels

90210-Hot-wheels-brandon-walsh-65-mustang

If you were old enough in the 90’s, you watched Beverly Hills, 90210. Perhaps you watched re-runs, which is totally cool. Either way, most of us are familiar with this iconic, cheesy, totally over dramatic piece of television history. They even rebooted it in 2008. Yes, I watched it. Yes, it’s equally as dramatic. Anyways, one of the staples of the ORIGINAL 90210 is Brandon Walsh’s car. The ’65 Mustang! This is a Hot Wheels Tiny Die Cast in their Retro Series. It’s super detailed and, clearly, the car of your dreams. You know it and I know it.

The 1990’s Coloring Book: All That and a Box of Crayons (Psych! Crayons not Included)

1990s-coloring-book

This is a coloring book for adults, such as myself, who can’t get over the 90’s and can’t get over coloring. It references several 90’s themes: Television, Movies, Music, Pop Culture. It’s a small book, only 64 pages, but there is so much nostalgia. There is a Legends of the Hidden Temple coloring page. I mean if that’s not worth your $8, what is.

Lisa Frank Diamond Paint by Numbers

I used to love Lisa Frank! All the color and fantasy creatures! The combination of Lisa Frank with a new crafty fad, diamond paint by numbers, makes the perfect gift for any 90’s lover. It’s great for crafty friends and Lisa Frank lovers, so basically everyone.

Magic 8 Ball

No joke, Magic 8 Ball has been around for a while. 1950 to be exact. But in the 90’s, at every single sleepover ever attended by anyone in the world, there existed the Magic 8 Ball. You can ask the deepest, darkest, questions and get life advice from a plastic toy. Ultimately, you took this extremely seriously. It definitely tells you the truth for your future….you did marry Jordan Catalano, right?

Various Nickelodeon Cartoon Wallet Bi-Folds

If you grew up in the 90’s, you remember Nickelodeon Cartoons….Rugrats, Rocco’s Modern Life, Hey Arnold. These wallets are little bi-folds with credit card slots, an ID window and a space for bills. But let’s be honest, who cares about function, when you can have 90’s gifts that put cartoon nostalgia on your wallet. Just sayin’.

Home Alone Storybook

90s-gifts-home-alone-storybook

Do you have or know someone who has kids? Do you want to force them to love the stuff you love and grew up with? Great! I bring to you, the Home Alone Storybook. It’s literally just a storybook that explains the plot of the movie. It’s an awesome walk down memory lane (maybe not that far…..I did watch this movie last Christmas). And, you can bring the awesomeness that is Home Alone to new generations. We have to preserve our culture, after all.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Sunnydale High T-Shirt

Sunnydale High, also known as Beverly Hills High, also known as many other movie and tv sets, I’m sure. Anyways, I digress. Buffy the Vampire Slayer was known for drama, moody music and of course vampires. This is a great gift for any Buffy fan. It’s the perfect way to pretend you’re a part of your favorite fictional world and, by association, friends with the characters.

90’s Gifts Honorable Mention – Television Couples Digital Print

This gift isn’t on the list, officially, because it’s something I made. We all remember our favorite TV couples from Saved by the Bell, Beverly Hills 90210, Boy Meets World, and Friends. In this set there are two version of the digital print. A clean, crisp, white background and a totally rad 90’s background. They’re 8.5 x 11, so go ahead and print using your regular printer. I suggest card stock for better quality. You could also get it printed at Staples, FedEx, or a print shop if you don’t want to use up ink. (I don’t blame you, that stuff is more expensive than gold practically!) Anyways, this is a digital print, so you will get a file. No actual print will be mailed.
